About Us

The Neilson Fieldhouse is an indoor sports facility offering field space and batting cages for youth baseball, softball, soccer, and other various sports. It also includes a walking track, locker rooms, and more. The Fieldhouse supports both teams and individuals, with year-round space to train, develop, and grow as an athlete.

In May of 2025, Bemidji Girls Fastpitch Softball, Bemidji Youth Baseball, and Bemidji Youth Soccer teamed up to form the Bemidji Indoor Sports Commission, Inc. (BISC), a non-profit organization dedicated to the renovation and long-term success of the Neilson Fieldhouse as a year-round space for youth sports and the community.

Thanks to a generous donation from the George W. Neilson Foundation, initial renovations are underway. The facility, which is leased from the City of Bemidji, will include artificial turf, batting cages, training spaces, a walking path, and more.

While primary use will be for youth softball, soccer, and baseball programs, the facility will be available to other sports and community organizations.
